This week I’ve been obsessed with swimwear.  Maybe it’s the slight hint of spring in the air but whatever it is, I’ve definitely got cabin fever!  My cure for cabin fever is early shopping for swimming gear in preparation for the steamy summer.  That’s when I came across the Side Contrast Squarecut swimming trunk.

The BumGear Side Contrast Squarecut swimming trunk seems simple at first glance but it’s the simplicity of its design that really blows me away.  The solid green stripes down the crotch and one leg thigh is artistic and cool.  The white ribbing they applied to the color patches really ties it all together and make it pop.

The crotch is designed to enhance your crotch size making you much to be desired.  Racing around the back are stitches that run directing down the center of your rear and also two stitches curving upwards from the sides.  This adds the appearance of squaring off your rear end.

There are two color options available including the green/black shown here and also red/white.

For all of us into the surfer style, look no further for your swim trunk of choice for this summer. The Paradiso Trunk by Tactics hits it right on the head by combining the appeal of a classic Hawaiian surfer swimming pattern with the comfort of a trunk but a shortened length to keep the style appealing.

The bright colors of the printed pattern are ideal for summer time hanging or enjoying the beach sun.  I particularly like the extra wide waistband in contrasting white because it breaks up the pattern nicely and adds an interesting off-pattern flair.

Along with the waistband, the classic lace-up fly completes the look as a retro swim trunk throwback and fun quirk for your jimmy to sit snug behind.  Of course there’s a mesh lining so you won’t have to worry about your junk making a run for it, if you know what I mean.

The enjoyment of board shorts can’t be denied.  They let us hang loose and get wet without worry.  But the usual board short is almost comically long.  In fact, some swimming board shorts (or surfer shorts, as some call them) feel like clown pants to me sometimes because of their length.

The Swim Boardwalk Trunk by Sauvage finally gives us swimwear worthy of being called a boardshort but with a shortened leg length and slimmer fit so we don’t feel like we’re slogging across the beach in balloon pants.   It features a contrast color stripe on the sides, a faux front fly that helps give the design balance, and a draw string waist.  The waist band is thick and manly and the Sauvage name is printed in small type on the lower left thigh.

Get ready for summer, gents!  This swim trunk is available in white, red, and charcoal.

The beautiful and manly cuts of the Sauvage Relay Squarecut swim shorts are what made us take a second look.  Sauvage has  made a name for themselves as using only the highest quality fabric and paying particular attention to design and style.  Men’s swimwear owes a great deal of respect to the Sauvage brand that helped us renew our love affair with the beach while wearing the sexiest pair of swim shorts possible.

We found a great deal on these LA Sporting Club’s Printed Board Shorts that aren’t only made of high quality polyester but have a gorgeous Hawaii style print.  This style of board shorts are popular because of their comfort and their style.  The colors are bright and encouraging to catch the summer time waves or catch the summer time hotties.

The waist features four chrome grommets with a stretchy white drawcord sewn through them.  A bonus feature are two zippered side pockets the the insides made of mesh and also one front pocket for safe keeping.

Joe Snyder Mini Cheek Sheer Bikini

The Mini Cheek Sheer Bikini are made of a super soft sheer material that is designed to hug close to your skin and close to your package.  They’re great for a day to show off at the beach or in your back yard (or maybe just around the house!).
