The X Stretch Hip Brief by Calvin Klein

Posted on 09. Feb, 2010 by Jack in Briefs, Product Reviews

I’m a big fan of tightie whities.  Those classic white briefs we’ve grown to love since we were little boys.  But once we become men, it’s time to upgrade our little white briefs without losing their original appeal.  That’s where the X Stretch Hip Brief by Calvin Klein comes in.

Instead of plain cotton, this brief has a luxurious knit blends of cotton with the soft texture of modal.   It’s designed to fit your body just right while also giving you the pleasure of ultra-soft cotton.  The front pouch is contoured to hold all your fun parts.  It also features an ultra wide waistband with the Calvin Klein logo in bright blue wrapping from front to back with a nicely added touch of sewn logo in the center with a bold letter “X”.

Not interested in white?  You can also get this brief in black and tempest!

The America Trunk by Man Zone

Posted on 11. Jan, 2010 by Jack in Boxer Briefs, Product Reviews

Only the bravest of men are authorized to wear the America Trunk  by Man Zone.  Featuring the finest of American flag underwear, the America Trunk takes the famous red, white, and blue to a higher level of style and sexiness and patriotism!

The flag print is designed to look aged with rough edges and a splattered paint effect.  Along the edges are solid and thick white seams that make the colors of this trunk pop out.  The seams are especially appreciated at the crotch where they make everything appear very grand.  The super waistband appeals to men who want stability and who also want to show off their brand.  This undie will peak over your pants with the tongue-in-cheek “Man Zone” logo blazing.

For a super soft feel, the America Trunk is designed of 100% cotton.

The Flash Hip Brief by DKNY

DKNY Flash Hip BriefHaving confidence in a brand speaks volumes and DKNY is a name that everyone trusts in quality and design.  They continue to build on that trust with the Flash Hip Brief.

It might be hard to see in the pictures but several parts of this underwear are light reflecting!  The strips on each side of the front pouch are designed to shimmer and reflect light so that the most important part of you is in the spotlight.  The waistband is also made of a black reflective shine that will dance and shimmer when peaking over your pants.

I especially love the alternative DKNY logo design on the waistband which is different from their standard logo.  It adds a nice splash of color to the nearly solid black brief.  The overall fabric is 90% cotton and 10% spandex which gives it the slightly elastic fit and won’t stretch out of shape like your cheapo 12 pack of white briefs you insist on keeping.

Go Softwear Contrast Boy BriefsLet’s get back to basics with the Contrast Boy Brief by Go Softwear that’s made to send you back to your rough and tumble boyhood days.  These briefs are sensible, yes, but you can’t get packaged fun like you can with these!

The fabric isn’t your average cotton though.  The Contrast Brief is made from cotton and lycra which makes it more plush and stretchy to your form.  The front fly is traditionally cut for easy access to your winky and the side trimming has alternating color to help make the whole thing pop.

Don’t be turned off by the color we have featured here because there are SIX other color variations available!  And by the way, it’s a proud product of the U.S.A.

The Linear Brief by DKNY

Posted on 10. Nov, 2009 by Jack in Briefs, Product Reviews

DKNY Linear BriefYou might think these are another run-of-the-mill pair of undies but we want you to look again.

What really caught our eye was the how their deceptively designed to look like a standard cotton brief but on closer inspection, the DKNY Linear Brief is actually a super silky marriage of cotton and spandex.  This combination gives this undie a slight sheer while also creating a flexibility in fit that won’t distort after repeated wears.

As its namesake says, the Linear Brief is designed with horizontal stripes that’ll square off your hips in a very pleasing way.  We would almost categorize this as a minimalist brief but the high quality ribbing and ultra smooth design begs to differ.  Of course don’t expect anything less than the thick DNKY waistband to show of your designer brand.

If you’re not keen on the baby blue we’re featuring, you can also get a pair of these in black, purple, pink, or white.

Wild Stripe Brief by Baskit

Posted on 04. Nov, 2009 by Jack in Briefs, Product Reviews

Baskit Wild Stripe BriefThere are many extraordinary things about the Wild Stripe Brief by Baskit.  I’m not only talking about the amazing colors they’ve managed to put into these briefs.   Nor am I not only talking about the two-ply 100% cotton material.  I’m talking about the whole package of design, style, and fit.

These briefs are meant to support but they also make you feel like you’re wearing high fashion in a reasonable style.  They’re meant to sit high on your waist for added support and feature the ultra-thick waist band that blazes the cool orange Laski logo 360 degrees.

The front pouch has a middle of the road seem which makes it a solid brief but also adds a nice little accentuation to your package.  It’s all about the stripes with this underwear!

Diesel Lukex Briefs (Fresh!)

Military

Military

There’s a ton of new colors in the Diesel Lukex Briefs series that I wanted to show off today.  They’re fresh, bright, and

ready for you with the designer Diesel stamp of approval.

If you don’t have a pair of Diesels in your drawer yet, then I think you’ve just found your first pair.  Right now the Lukex series is available in five different colors; black, green, red, blue, and military.  What’s military you ask?  Check out the male model pictures I’ve put together for you here.

Now the cool thing about these briefs isn’t that they’re designed by Diesel (although that’s usually enough for most guys because Diesel is so bad ass), is that they have an amazing stretch fit.

They’re made of cotton and elastine which means they won’t get all out of shape like other “less quality” underwear that turn into a big floppy mess after a week.  Trust me, I know.
